Kerala Holidays 2027 (Expected)
The official 2027 list is usually notified in the Kerala Gazette in October or November of the previous year. Until then, this page shows the dates we expect, calculated from the Malayalam calendar and fixed national days.
Expected dates. Religious holidays that depend on moon sighting (Id-ul-Fitr, Bakrid, Muharram, Milad-i-Sherif) and holidays whose star falls twice in a month are left out until the notification is published.

Weekly closures in Kerala
Besides the holidays above, all Sundays are holidays. State government offices in Kerala are also closed on the second Saturday of every month. Banks follow the RBI rule and close on the second and fourth Saturdays.
District Collectors can declare local holidays for festivals, elections or heavy rain. Those are announced separately and are not included here.
